Long Cane Creek Boat Ramp

Located near Little River in the western portion of the Long Cane Ranger District, the Long Cane and Highway 28 boat ramps provide access to some of the finest fishing along the backwaters of Clark Hill Reservoir.  At the Long Cane Ramp, an elevated picnic area containing four tables and a central fire ring affords visitors a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery.

Note:  This boat ramp is one of two on Long Cane Creek providing access to Clarks Hill Lake.  For information on the other ramp, see Highway 28 Boat Ramp.

Directions:
From Anderson, travel south on Hwy. 28 to the four-way stop in Abbeville. Turn right and travel 3.3 miles to the intersection of  
Hwy. 28 and Hwy. 72.  Continue on Hwy. 28 for 15.2 miles. Turn right onto South 33-276, and travel for 1.3 miles.  Bear right onto FS 3007, and travel 0.6 miles to parking lot.

South Carolina fishing and boating regulations apply.  See
www.dnr.sc.gov for more information.  Pack it in/Pack it out. There are no garbage cans at these sites.
